OMSI

The Saturday before Easter Sunday we decided to go do something fun.So we went to OMSI. Most of the pictures are of Mason (of course) despite his facial expressions he did have a great time, especially with the water. 

Lately

Most of you probably know that I have been working part time as a receptionist for H&R Block, if you didn't well I'm sorry you didn't hear the family gossip ;) Since the middle of January I have been working and will work until the end of the tax season which is April 18th. At the time I started, Sterling was looking for work and waiting to hear back from the job he has now. Since Sterling working Mason has been staying with Grandma Karen and Papa Steve (which we are so beyond grateful for) I honestly think Mason wouldn't mind living there forever :) Anyway today was such a gorgeous day that we had to go out and soak up as much sun as we could.

Christmas 2015

This year we spent Christmas morning by ourselves. It was really nice and quite and we could take as long as we wanted opening our presents. 

Mason didn't want to open any of his presents. He kept giving them to Sterling to open for him.

 

Mason's First Birthday

Mason's First Birthday was a little tricky. It landed on a Sunday and because I procrastinated I didn't get around to doing nearly everything I wanted to. I'm the kind of person who HAS to celebrate ones birthday on the actually day they were born. I always hated when my birthday was on a Sunday or school day and had to wait for the weekend to have a party. I also believe that birthdays should be celebrated to the max and shouted from the roof tops. Okay.. Maybe not shouted but definitely should be a big deal. I was so blessed to have my parents and little sister to not only help celebrate but to also help clean and decorate. Sterling's family also came which I was so grateful for. So even though it didn't turn out as I pictured in my head, it was still a smashing hit :)
